We are Monique and James Rugile, a sister-brother team behind Rugile’s Kitchen. Monique began her training at the School of Natural Cookery in Boulder, CO. She built her personal chef business in 2000 highlighting organic ingredients, alternative cooking methods, and catering to clients with special dietary needs. Monique takes pride in cooking intuitively, from the heart rather than a recipe book.
James is a graduate of Johnson & Wales University with a background in fine dining and farm to table cuisine. He is a James Beard nominated chef who appreciates cooking seasonally, simply and with precision.
Growing up, our mother made sure everyone helped to get dinner on the table. From picking herbs to making vinaigrettes and washing dishes, we each had our responsibilities. This taught us the value of a well cooked meal and the importance of the dinner table. We are excited to share our passion for food with you and welcome you into our kitchen.
